Handsome Family Last Days of Wonder (Carrot Top Records)

Strange and beautiful, I still can't get enough of this CD.  If you've ever hung out in a graveyard, a strip mall, or a bowling alley bar, or if you just understand the magic of such places, then this is the album for you.

Cory Branan 12 Songs (Madjack Records)

Long awaited follow up to my beloved "The Hell You Say."  No one captures desire as humorously or as devastatingly as Cory.

Cracker Greenland (Cooking Vinyl)

Sonically and emotionally crushing; an amazing collection of tunes.

Richard Buckner Meadow (Merge)

As his lyrics become sparser, Richard's guitar playing looms larger, setting the mood and leading the way on a beautiful journey.

Kristen Miller Strange Little Valentine (Cellobrew)

Cello never sounded so cool or so haunting. 

Hem Funnel Cloud (Nettwerk)

Every song is lovely, moving, and memorable. 

Rose's Pawn Shop The Arsonist (Independent)

Nobody, but nobody, plays like these guys!  Solid musicianship, great songs, and energy beyond belief.

Vivian Linden Watch the Light Fade (Tarnished Records)

Vivian's aptly described "country-noir" music is intoxicating.  A record to return to again and again.

Thea Gilmore Harpo's Ghost (Compass)

Another great release from one of my favorites.

Anders Parker Self-Titled  (Baryon Records)

More wonderful songs from Anders on this follow up to previous year end favorite Tell It To The Dust.

Dan Montgomery Rosetta Please (Fantastic Yes)

Great story, great songs, an all-around great listen.
